Is it a bad thing if she is calling me "bro" and "brother"?

So I had been chatting with this woman on Instagram for months. She is also an MBA student from another University in our city Bangalore in India whereas I recently completed my MBA. So we had been chatting and she is one of the few ones who hasn't ghosted me yet. But I noticed that after chatting for a while she has been using the word "bro" which felt casual at first but suddenly she started using the word "brother" and this is confusing me and making me annoyed. She is also Bengali like me but she is from Kolkata and I am from Siliguri in West Bengal state. Also I am 25 and she is 23 so we are around the same age. Sadly some women in India bro-zones(or brother-zones) guys to avoid him from taking romantic chances. Yeah in India, the term brother-sister is used a lot even by people who aren't siblings just to show there isn't any romantic thing or anything. The chats seem pretty casual like I shared a tesla video and she also videocalled me on Instagram by mistake but she still used the word brother. Based on the chats, do you feel she is just using brother casually or does it really mean she sees me as a brother figure? I am in India that's why confused because in India, women even tie rakhi to men(which is mainly tied by sisters to brothers) to show non-romantic connection and he is like a brother to her. She’s totally into you if she’s from the Deep South

You must have sounded like a brother to her.

@Bleak what brother? Also this brother-sister thing is used in India a lot. We are 23 and 25 so how?

@Heroisthebest25 Relax, it’s just internet vocabulary at this point. Everyone is “brother” until feelings get involved.
It looks and sounds like she's using them interchangeably. Bro/brother. As a term of endearment as in "good friend" but also someone completely platonic. We do this here as well. If you're so unsure, why not just ask her straight up? What are you asking us for? We can't possibly know her true full intentions because we're not her, so to know for sure, just ask for clarity 🤷🏾

Believe it or not I have had women sleep with me just because they liked my vehicle
She's friend-zoning you.

Unless you want her...it's not a big deal. 🙂

If you are interested in her romantically, this is a red flag. What she calls you is how she views you.

My dude. You answered your own question there like three times.
You saying you're annoyed shows your faking being her friend when you're wanting something else.

@CurrentName Dude why being rude now? I am also socializing with other women too on Instagram and also trying to socialize with women(both Indian and foreigners) in Cafes, bookstores and malls of our city so it's not like I am only fixated on her romantically. I am trying to build connections, socialize and talk to women. So yeah I am trying to meet other women too.
