You know you're safe when you drop something at 4.30 a.m

And every person in your life in close proximity rushes to your space to check on your well being.

Strange are the simple things that can invite tears to my eyes.

I never had that growing up. There were times even during active terrorist attacks that my parents forgotten or intentionally never tried to find me and get me out of there.

It was that bad.

Im glad you have loving caring people around you. I can feel very strange if it was never the norm

@Miram understandable, i get terrified at the idea, i litteraly tried to ponder an apology to whoever for when/if it happens.

@lovingdead Because you got treated like a burden, you see being cared for/about as a burden and reliability, maybe even strategic failure if you have been excessively treated as a chess piece in traumatizing plots.

It effs up your mind.

It is also the dilemma of a person who had to read bad intentions to survive.

And the more branched out your thinking and empathy tend to be, the more challenging it is to feel peace in safety.

@Miram correct....but also shhhh, you make it hard to ignor reality when you just say it

Now when you have a crisis you call the security company. Chances are the police are already on the scene.
