So these 3 were my best social moments today. Do you feel it was too?
So in 1MG Lido Mall of Trinity Circle of our city Bangalore in India, I initiated a conversation with this expat woman from the US. Yeah she is working here in Bangalore. She was honestly very beautiful and friendly. I even asked her which city in the US she is from and she said Chicago. I literally answered that wow it's one of my dream City to visit and she said yeah it's a good city. She also asked me whether I am from Bangalore but I said I am living here since many years but originally from Bengal state. She then asked whether I am a student but I said I am just done with my MBA very recently and currently job searching. She then said oh wow congratulations. I also asked her how she is finding the city and she said it's been wonderful so far and she is loving it except the traffic and i agreed and laughed too. We asked each other's name. Her name was simple but mine was complicated for her haha. After some conversations, We eventually ended it with a handshake and she said me with a laugh "Happy shopping" and I also laughed and said okay same to you and have a great day. She is also mostly in her mid 20s or maybe late 20s and I am 25 so we are basically peers aged.
Then in the same mall, i initiated conversation with this man from Germany. But he was literally a co-pilot of Lufthansa airlines for real. Yeah in the mall i previously talked with women from Germany and UK who were flight attendants but this was my freaking first time talking to a co-pilot in general. I was super impressed. We had a lot of interactions. I even asked whether his flight is a Boeing 747 but he said it's an Airbus but still plenty of Lufthansa airlines are the 747. I also said I love the 747 a lot. We asked each other's name too and he struggled to pronounce my name as usual and he literally asked me whether I have a nickname so he can call me by that name but yeah I said him to call me by my surname/last name instead haha. Anyways a great interaction. Never expected to casually talk with a co-pilot like that.
Then in the courtyard area of Church Street, I talked with these 2 women who are also Indians and one of them is literally about to complete her MBA. I said her that I am also freshly done with MBA. So yeah we asked each other which University we did our MBA, about specialising, asked our names and many more. She is also mostly about 23-25 age range. It was really great to meet someone with a shared educational background like this as it made the interaction easier but as we were in the courtyard area and not seated, the interaction was shorter than if we were in a Cafe or something. But yeah it was still good.
