OMG it's crazy to believe it's been 2 years since then. What do you feel about it?
So as you all know, during my 2nd semester of MBA in early 2024, I had crush on this girl Akansha in our campus. She was the prettiest in our University. She is from Nagpur in Maharashtra state of India and I am from Siliguri in West Bengal but living in Bangalore since 2008 and she came to Bangalore for MBA. So yeah it was basically an infatuation as she wasn't fully into me but I was 23 and just overcoming shyness so every conversations with her felt thrilling and I would be excited to go to campus just to meet her and talk to her. But on 2nd May 2024 exactly 2 years from now, during our last exam of 2nd semester I did something bold.
I talked with Akansha but as we had 3 months of break for internships, I also said her "let's have a goodbye hug" and hugged her. She gave an awkward smile tho and her hug was kinda half-hearted. Even though it was an awkward hug, it felt sooooo good for me honestly especially to hug such a pretty woman. But yeah I did it as I was still learning social cues and inexperienced especially after years of shyness and no female interactions. Now 2 years later I am 25 and it's been 2 years since I got a hug from a woman. I don't have any woman like Akansha to look forward to now. Yeah I am socializing with women including foreign expat ones in Central Bangalore Cafes, malls, bookstores etc but yeah many are one time interactions and I only go out and socialize twice in every weeks. Crazy to believe how fast time flies tho and it's been 2 years since the hug.
