There is nothing wrong with wanting to be a part of something special cause we were never ment to go through life alone with out the love of a partner. Anybody that tells you that there is something wrong with them ask them to take a good look at themselves and ask why do the want to be alone rather than experiencing life with a significant other

This hyper-independence and singledom praising is bullshit. It primarily benefits sellers who get to sell more if people live separately as single individuals as opposed to a group of people splitting costs. I see no reason why a normal, healthy person should avoid a relationship at all costs and present it as a flex.
