Why do the moments and interactions with women who are similar or closer in age feel so much special and memorable to me than with older women?
So yeah I have noticed one thing that most moments with similar aged women whether my recent MBA crushes or my interactions in Cafes and all feel so much special and satisfying honestly. Like 2 days ago, this Indian woman who early to mid 20s and working in the Cafe in Indiranagar area of our city Bangalore in India waved at me smiling because we talked 5 days before that and she was so friendly and beautiful. Yeah I didn't talk as she was busy on a meeting in her laptop but still she waved at me first as she recognized me and that felt so special to me. Same with another early 20s Indian woman I talked with in an Indiranagar Cafe felt special too as we had a memorable interaction. I am 25 but still they feel special as I missed out before due to bullying, low self esteem and shyness. Similarly yesterday in 1MG Lido Mall of Trinity circle area, I talked with this pretty German woman who was in the 21-23 age range and just completed college recently and is travelling now. The conversation on the escalator, her smile, the handshakes and the bit "crush-like" feeling felt special even though I was obviously composed in the interaction. Something similar also happened with another German traveler too in Church Street 2 weeks ago who was about 23-27 age range and gave me double handshakes instead of single one and that felt subtly intimate. Also yesterday in UB City mall, I also talked with these 2 women together in their mid to late 20s and one was from Australia and another from England and it was such a high energy and bubbly interaction and it felt so memorable to talk with such amazing and pretty women who were so confident and full social mood. Then in Starbucks of Lavelle road talked with this expat woman from Portugal with Russian roots and she is also about 27-30 too so again close to my age and she is working here in Bangalore since August 2025. We talked a lot and had handshakes and fully talked like peers. That calm Cafe interaction, her smile, the eye contact while talking, all felt so special. And of course my crushes with woman like Anshika who is same age as me in my 1st year of MBA felt super special and full of butterflies.
And of course I talk with older women(over 35) as well. But yeah I mostly talk with Western expats who are older. Sadly many mid 30s+ Indian women I tried to talk in Cafes were way too reserved and very closed off compared to many Indian women in their 20s. So yeah recently talked with 2 older German women who were 45+, a Latin looking German woman yesterday who was in her mid to late 30s too, British women in their 30s and 40s, an American expat woman who was about 40-45 too recently, an older Danish woman etc. But yeah the interactions were meaningful, made me feel more confident that I can also talk to older women confidently now and many are socially rich. Older women can be even more better and experienced when it comes to keeping the conversation flowing and everything but idk why I don't get that special feeling, the mild "crush-like" feeling, the slight raising heartbeat feeling when talking to them. The interactions feel calm and mature honestly which I like too and I guess thats a good thing. I also get the proper cross-cultural exposure which is essential for everyone. So yeah why does it happen that I feel more special feelings when interacting with women who are similar to closer in age to me than with older women?
