These were the best social moments for me today. What do you feel?
After 5 days of no socializing, i finally went to the cosmopolitan Central areas of our city Bangalore in India. So at first in Indiranagar area of our city which is the hipster neighborhood, I saw this woman working on her laptop but looking around so I initiated a conversation and she replied. She was honestly so beautiful and even open to talking. I shared I am just saying Hi to new people. She responded well. I asked her whether she is working or studying now and she said she is working. I said being freshly done with my MBA and she asked in what specialization I did my MBA and I said Business Analytics and she said she studied BCA(Bachelor's in Computer Application) and now doing a Tech job. She is mostly in her early 20s(about 21-23 age range) and I am 25. She herself asked my name first too and I said it and asked hers. I asked her where she is from and she said she is from Bangalore itself and I mentioned being a Bengali and she said nice to meet you. She also asked tho out of curiosity whether it's some social experiment I am doing or am I genuinely socializing but I answered that I am genuinely socializing with new people as campus life is over.
Then in Third Wave Coffee of Indiranagar itself i saw this same woman who is in her early to mid 20s from Kerala state of India and working and I talked with her 5 days ago and she even asked me that day whether I will come to Third Wave later as she was about to be in a meeting so we can talk later but that I said no I am going UB City. But today I saw her in the same Cafe after 5 days but she was in headphone and clearly talking on laptop so yeah I didn't try to talk but you all won't believe she still looked around and after seeing me, she waved at me for real with a smile. Yeah it's her being friendly but it felt special to me given my history with bullying, isolation and limited female interactions before 22-23. But yeah I smiled and waved back but didn't approach as she was on a meeting. Maybe next time when she is more free we can talk but yeah even this brief moment felt so meaningful to me.
Then in Starbucks of Trinity Circle area of our city, I met these 2 foreign expat women from Germany. They are older(45+ mostly) but still very friendly. I approached them and we talked quite a bit and they were very bubbly, laughed while talking, asked me questions and even laughed saying how complicated my name is. They are here in Bangalore for some Business. They even asked me whether I have been to Europe before and I said sadly no but it's my dream to go and they said I am sure you will go there one day. So yeah very pleasant and socially rich interaction. In 1MG Lido mall of Trinity Circle too i initiated a conversation with another foreign woman from Estonia and she was friendly and pretty too. She is traveling and came here to meet a friend. But yeah she was about to leave the mall so the interaction was more brief with her haha. Then ended the day in UB City, then Lavelle road and then Church Street.
