I don’t think it’s wrong at all to voice your fears. Sometimes just getting them out of your head and into words can bring a lot of relief. You’re definitely not alone in feeling that way, especially with big life changes as time goes on—it can make the future feel uncertain. That's definitely understandable. I've noticed a lot of changes since I turned 80, as well. Things I wasn't expecting so it can be challenging.
Since you’re anonymous, sharing here can be a safe outlet, and you might even receive some helpful encouragement or perspective. I would just be mindful about who you engage with—you never really know who is behind a screen. To be safe, I think I would just take the advice and not engage with the person unless you know them of course.
You might enjoy reading The Gift of Years. It’s full of thoughtful reflections on facing uncertainty, navigating change, and finding calm and meaning when life feels unpredictable. Many people find it comforting and encouraging in times of fear or doubt.
I do understand and I hope you feel better soon. ♥🫂
