It's weird when you think you're not doing ENOUGH (and not vocalizing it)

But people keep telling you you're doing great.

There HAS to come a time that I will just believe it, but not lose the drive to keep going

In fact, maybe it becomes the fuel. 💙

Trauma makes us so hard on ourselves. 🤗🤗

@RebelRaven it's weird cause my parents weren't hard on me. I wonder where it comes from
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@caccoon doesn’t have to have come from your parents, sounds like enough boys in your life have done damage.

@RebelRaven I wonder if it comes from the fact my parents DIDN'T care, and I always wanted to do well

So as a result I never feel fulfilled by my achievements because positive things I did were never acknowledged

@caccoon that makes a lot of sense! Them not caring is traumatizing too

@RebelRaven it was not great
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@caccoon no, it wouldn’t be, all you wanted was the love and affection of your parents and you didn’t get it. 🤗

@RebelRaven that's okay! It's been a weird ride but I think I am becoming someone I am very happy with

@caccoon good. 😊
