Why do many slower romantic Bollywood songs make me feel so emotional?
Idk in the resort where we are staying in Sakleshpura in Karnataka state of India about 220 km away from our city Bangalore, at first they were playing Kannada language (local language here) songs here which I couldn't understand but suddenly they played this really sad Romantic Bollywood song where the singer said "Tum Se" a lot. I couldn't find the song on Youtube tho at all. I recorded it when it was playing in the resort but could barely record much. I am searching using the keyword "Tum Se" but can't find the song at all. But yeah it sounds very similar to the sad romantic ballad songs from the movie Aashiqui 2 or most of Arijit Singh's songs. Before I didn't care but nowadays these songs makes me really emotional and almost brings tears to my songs because many of these Bollywood songs bring the feeling of longing.
Idk whether it's because I was bullied so much in school and missed out in having healthy crushes or feelings as a teenager or it's just my personality and also plenty of Bollywood movies show love as previous and adding Indian conservatism to it makes the songs even more powerful. I am 25 now and have been actively socializing with women, had crushes very recently during my MBA, faced some distancing, also just imagine myself falling in love, facing heartbreaks and these themes makes me emotional especially after hearing this song. I was almost about to have tears in my eyes for real. I just imagine how it will be when I will fall in love, how simple or precious it will be, whether either of us get hurt etc. I controlled my tears as my parents and Debdas uncle and his wife was there but yeah I was suddenly feeling my emotions fighting in my mind.
