I’ve been in bed for hours

I can’t seem to really sleep tonight

I know it’s because I brought work home with me but I can’t get this one out of my mind

I love my job but it’s been a difficult week and I think I’m just burned out on the tragedy of life right now

Too much of mentally ill people and their families screaming for help and being told that, despite having all the money in the world as a nation, there’s no place for them to go to get help. No resources for them. No facility. No help. No money for them.

And then people start dying and I just can’t anymore.

Im ready for the weekend.
