Isn't it ironic how I posted on here about older women in 2023 and now I talk to them in person?
So yeah in Oct 2023 when I was 22, it was our Bengali festival Durga Puja and I was in my 1st semester of MBA and had a female friend Soniya who was Bengali too but she is from Kolkata and I am from Siliguri and she was about 23 at the time. I was a bit shy so she initiated more conversations with me. On Durga Puja, we both hanged out in our city Bangalore in India, did pandal hopping and had mutton biryani in Meghana restaurant. It was a very fun and memorable outing and I even posted our selfie here on this site(SW). Surprisingly I didn't post it on Instagram as she said me not to post them because she felt our MBA classmates could gossip whether we were dating or something and in India especially these happens. But as most are older, western and anonymous here and no one knows her, I posted here kinda in a bragging way too. But I also had made a post on here bragging to the SW older women who were 40+ that how I mostly felt comfortable and fun with Soniya as she was about the same age and how I wasn't really into the older women on here so told them not to crush on me. Yeah I know it sounds immature but I was just bragging but yeah some older women commented on that post so I deleted that post.
But whats crazy is that now I am 25 and I can easily approach and talk to foreign expat women even 10+ years older than me well into their 30s and even 40s. So yeah I am not just socializing with women in their 20s but also 30s and 40s as well. The interactions with older women have been calmer and more matured as well. But yeah at the time as Soniya was my classmate and I was still in my MBA and could easily meet peer aged women in their 20s and have crushes, I felt safe enough to post and even brag to people on this site but now as I am freshly done with MBA and exploring more and socializing, I talk with any woman whether Indian or foreign, 20 somethings or 30s or 40s and no more bragging posts either. So yeah I am way more confident now. Sadly I just miss that structure tho. That bond with Soniya is what I really miss nowadays.
