The reason why this interaction with the Scottish woman felt so calm. What do you feel?
So yesterday earlier in the day in Araku Cafe of Indiranagar area of our city Bangalore in India which is often called the hipster part of our city, I saw this woman in the Cafe and I initiated a conversation with her. She responded with a smile. I said her I am just trying to talk with new people and she said that's great nice to meet you. Then I asked her whether she is working in the Bangalore or just traveling and she said "I am just traveling. I am on a vacation so just chilling in the city". I said that's great and asked her which country she is from and she answer Scotland. I was like wow and said it was nice to meet her. She then asked me whether I am from Bangalore, I said yes and that I am originally from West Bengal state but living in the city for many years and just freshly done with my MBA. She is quite older than me tho definitely 45+ and I am 25 but it didn't matter at all. I ended the conversation fast tho as the table near her wasn't empty so had to stand near her table to talk so couldn't keep the interaction longer but yeah I ended it with a handshake and have a great day and she also wished me luck saying "also best of luck".
It felt so calm because she was on a vacation and herself said she is chilling around. In a calm cafe this felt even better. For me the word "vacation" itself makes me calm as I remember even as a kid when school summer vacations came, i would feel excited and like finally a break from studies so the word itself means break from routine life. Plus she looked like a fully backpacker with braid hairstyle, no rushing and a genuine friendly smile which felt relaxing. And unlike many women in their 20s, she was calmer for real which I really liked. Plus I am in a high tension phase of life as I am job searching so talking to a calm woman on a vacation felt extra refreshing. Do you relate to it?
