life changer at 21

Life changer was at age 21 for me making me change my ways. It was after an accident with a friend driving. We were the rambunctious and crazy type getting away with it at times. It was finally one night coming home and this friend of mine was going a little too fast, we were not drinking. Tried to pass a semi truck and I told him not to do it, did not listen. Car came loose right into a tree. I was lucky to walk away bruised a little bit. He lost his left leg amputated below the knee which he does wear a prosthetic leg. Realized I was right and we both agreed to tone down which we did. He did get a ticket from that accident which he paid it. We both give back, speak out to teens there are consequences from making bad choices in life

Wow, hard lesson to learn.

@VeronicaJane It was for him big time learning to adjust life as an amputee walking wearing a prosthetic leg. Cops thought we were drunk and we cooperated with them doing the breathalyzer test which read zero and passed the tests. Mom taught me to use common sense very well. Him, he had a son coming at the time and did realize his son now 26 was important. Good thing his son has not made this choice breaking the cycle. Also with me, I had a daughter with an ex girlfriend of mine coming at the time and knew I needed to be in her life
