So I had these 2 interactions yesterday as well but I forgot to share. What do you feel about these?
So yeah I just shared about the 3 expat interactions and an unexpected bump-in with a woman whom I follow on Instagram because those were just unexpected and very memorable. But in Indiranagar area of our city Bangalore in India, in this Cafe named Third Wave Coffee, I actually had a 2nd bump-in with a woman who is also an Indian. Yeah she is a regular in that Cafe and so am I sometimes. We talked last week and as it was our first interaction, I kept it brief and I just said her that I am just saying Hi to new people and briefly introduced that I am freshly done with my MBA and she also said she is working now. So yesterday I again just happened to bump into her in that Cafe. She was basically taking a break from her work by standing at the entrance of the Cafe so it was easy to initiate. She is definitely about 23-25 age range and I am 25 now. So we both recognized each other and this time she was more relaxed and even asked me about my self like which specialization I did my MBA and whether I am working now. I said her I am still searching for one and had an interview earlier so she wished me luck. I then asked her name and she said it and I also said my name and asked me where are you from after hearing my name. I said I am from West Bengal state of India but living in Bangalore for many years. I then asked her where is she from and she said she is from Mumbai. So yeah she is basically from the land of Bollywood haha. Anyways we ended the conversation with handshake and have a good day. Still didn't ask her Instagram tho even though we met for the 2nd time but it was a very positive interaction and she was so friendly. This felt like a great continuation after an amazing interaction with this British expat woman in another Cafe in Indiranagar itself.
Then in Lavelle Road area, this time the interaction was with a man but that felt crazy too. Because he is an Asian American man and is quite taller than me(and I am 176-177 cm). Yeah it just was crazy because usually I am taller than or same height as most East Asian expats but this man was quite noticeably taller than me which surprised me haha. I still said him Hi tho and he smiled and confidently said me Hi back. Many East Asian men and women has been more reserved when I say them Hi but this man has this Western confidence. I said I am just greeting new people. Then I asked him whether he is here in Bangalore for work or just traveling and he said he is just for a short work assignment. I then asked him where he is from and he answered "I am from the United states". But yeah he was heading elsewhere whereas I was heading to UB City mall so we ended the conversation with a handshake. What do you feel about it?
