I have been contemplating the fragility of life, the finiteness of it all that encapsulates its beauty, ugliness, pain and joy.

I had to have my dog put to sleep last week. While I am immensely sad at losing my best friend and companion. The happiness and joy she brought me vastly outweighs the pain of losing her. I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

See you on the other side Waffle

Awesome looking dog ❤ I've been there myself twice before and it sucks but I just did my best to focus on the blessed life that they had compared to many other animals of all kinds. That helped with the sense of loss somewhat. I hate that death has to be a part of life and particularly that it becomes more and more prominent the older that you get. The only choice that we have is to accept and in doing so to try and make peace with it. Easier said than done, obviously, but I've definitely found that it helps to focus on the life had rather than the life lost.

Wishing you strength during the grieving process.
@ostfuidctyvm Thank you 🙏
