Wow he followed me back on Instagram. Do you think he forgot all that and the friendship is rekindled?
So this post is about this guy Nitish with whom I had history. He was my classmate long time ago in 4th and 5th grade so we were children. He is basically from Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh state of India and I am from Siliguri in West Bengal but living in the city Bangalore for many years. We were good friends, he would help me with notes if I was absent, we would share our lunch, he would visit my home and we would play etc. But we had silly childish fights too. I remember often tho if we fought and I was losing, I would make a crying face and he immediately said okay sorry because I used to complain to my mom about everything fights or who hit me. But in early 2011 I remember when have 5th grade final exams, when we were both 10 year olds I heard sound of a JCB (which are earthmovers). But we started arguing about who heard the JCB first. I said "I heard the JCB first" and he said "he heard the JCB first" and that turned into hitting each other too.
I made the same crying expression but this time he was adamant that he heard the JCB first so I started saying "Wait I will complain to my mother". He also said "Yes go put masala and complain". My mom used to pick me up and I used to frequently complain about boys bothering me and hitting me and she scolded plenty of boys during my elementary and middle school days. So I complained about Nitish as well that he fought with me, even exaggerating a bit as a kid saying that he hit me hard and also said me to put masala and complain. So my mom got angry. We saw Nitish and she scolded him in a confrontational way asking why did you do this that etc. He tried saying that I also hit him and fought but he got scoldings and he went home crying. Later his mom called on the phone(of course it was my mom's phone as I was too young to have my own phone) and asked me why did I do this. I gave my phone to my mom and both the moms argued a bit and finally decided me and Nitish won't talk to each other and yeah after that both of us ignored each other completely and he wasn't my classmate in 6th grade and after that he changed school.
Idk as I grew up tho I feel that was unnecessary and he was a friend and never a bully and fights like that normal at 10. I honestly wish it happened with Arjun who bullied and humiliated me so severely especially in 9th and 10th grade and one of the biggest reason behind extreme shyness, trust issues, low self esteem etc. I found Nitish on Instagram tho and today morning I saw he finally followed me back. Yes that means he remembers me. We are both 25 year old now. Idk whether he still remembers that fight and everything as it happened when we were children and 15 years have passed since then. It felt good tho. Damn it surprised me and I can't believe he followed me back. This Instagram notification truly shocked me in a good way. Do you feel we can rekindle the friendship as adults now?
