Do you think about trying to act younger than what you are is a good thing

When I was younger like in my teens in my 20s, I thought I will always stay hip. I will like the current music of the time. I was definitely wrong. But then, of course, I don’t listen to the current music, but what I’ve heard of it is terrible. But I don’t think Taylor Swift is all that bad I’ve heard one or two of her songs. The hits from lords first album we’re pretty good. That may not be spelled right. But I’m more of a rock ‘n’ roll person and I don’t even know what’s going on in the new rock.

I feel ya!

Child from the 70's, into rock and metal. What you'd call hair metal, I guess, these days. My other 'arf was big on the 'New Romantics', so I got into that. I also loved blues.

That sustained me into the 90's until the 00's. Then, found some more modern-ish country artists - Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, The Band Perry, Miranda Lambert, Midland, Sugarland - and started following them, alongside Carly Rae Jepsen/Taylor Swift/RAYE.

But, I like what I like. As you do you. What hits us, predominantly during puberty, tends to stick...but I'm happy in my notion that I really can't give a flying one over what anybody really thinks of that.

As an aside, our daughter is coming up to 12 years of age. She plays guitar. What she listening to? Mainly Steve Vai and Frank Zappa.

Hope for the future.

No, acting not but staying up to date with art and technology is needed to keep the mind stimulated, I think. It's also good to stay in contact and spend time with younger people too. To not get too rigid in thoughts and learn new things from them.

There have been some good new bands out. I really like the lumineers. Theyre like a indie rock group I think. Theres more but I cant really think about them at the moment. I never wanted to stay young. Im older and wiser and Im happy for it.

I feel sorry for kids today and the music they are forced to listen to.
