Damn why does the instrumental of this song from 2010 sound so retro now?

So this song was known to be a hit in 2010 it seems. I didn't know tho as I was a child plus in India but recently I have been hearing this song a lot and vibing to this song and other Taio Cruz tracks a lot as I am more socially confident now at 25 and socialize with women in Central parts of our city Bangalore. I especially feel as if I am as cool as Taio Cruz when talking to foreign expat women confidently. Like as I go out solo, I feel the vibe of this song more as Taio Cruz seemed solo and independent too and he was 29-30 when he sang this song. But damn today I heard the instrumental and the chorus especially this electronic synth sound is sounding very retro. Like the synth was definitely present in many disco songs from the 2000s and early 2010s but now in 2026 this sounds extremely retro. This is a 2010 song so not even that old song like 80s or 90s song but it already feels classic and retro to me now. But yeah 2010 was freaking 16 years ago which is crazy too so yeah. What do you feel about it?
