Do you feel I will miss out this Sunday by not going to Church Street or just Central Bangalore in general?
So I just went out yesterday to Central parts of our city Bangalore in India and talked to several international women from countries like Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and Ghana but they were mostly in Indiranagar and Lavelle Road and honestly Thursdays aren't the best in Church Street which is a cobblestone street for pedestrians and is youthful and cosmopolitan and full of Cafes, pubs, trendy stores, eateries, bookstores, courtyards etc. Sundays is when I get to meet more Indian women in my preferred peer age range(21-30 age range) and I am 25.
Last Sunday I had several good interactions with plenty of Indian women in their 20s across venues in Church Street who were working professionals, MBA or other Masters students, final year college students and interns so all in their 20s and I am freshly done with my MBA. I exchanged names and had good conversations and many Indian women are more relaxed to talk in Sundays as everyone is in leisure mode whereas in weekdays, most women are in work mode in Cafes and busy. Weekdays are better to meet more approachable and solo foreign expat women in Cafes but weekends are the best to socialize with peer aged Indian women.
I can sometimes even bump into familiar women on weekends like the ones from my MBA campus who were in my year or the MBA juniors as Church Street is a popular hangout spot in the city. Weekdays have a much lower foot traffic in general. But this Sunday I am not going out because I don't have any plans and I just went out yesterday plus living with parents means making friends outing excuse but I don't have any plans this week so I will mainly go there again next Sunday so do you feel I will miss out socially too much by not going out this Sunday especially to Church Street?
