The lost art of using self-restraint….
We as a society have failed in teaching the younger generations about self-restraint. Most have failed ourselves in practicing the lost art and highly treasured virtue of self-restraint.
This darkness all started in the 60’s when the philosophy of feeling good trumped everything. It’s when morality and virtue began disappearing. This is when people started to feel no guilt about feeling good, no matter what the cost might be especially regarding our spiritually. Is there really any true happiness found in the quest of endless pleasures?
This type of carefree attitude has only accelerated over the last 25 years or so. With the advent of the internet and currently AI things have become exponentially worse. Every vice imaginable is currently at every single person’s fingertips via their phone or a computer. Nobody is immune to this age of immediate gratification involving endless pleasure, convenience and every vice imaginable.
When pornography, gambling and unlimited entertainment are at one’s fingertips via a tap on a phone or click on a computer, it then becomes very easy to become lost within sin and darkness.
It’s so sad to see so many souls lust after all the worldly pleasures and gain nothing but that feeling of emptiness within oneself. Today’s society is now defined by addiction in so many ways. Not just in such things involving materialism, drugs and gambling but an addiction to craving convenience, artificial pleasure and amusement 24/7.
Artificial intelligence will only make things exponentially worse and sadly most of us human beings will be forced to rely on such a device in order to participate in society.
Most people are being taught by AI to unlearn and most of these people no longer have any critical thinking or logic skills. We as a society are entering a dark age within an abyss. A time where almost every human being is heading down a path of self-induced destruction which could lead to our extinction.
We have been sold a bunch of lies where AI and this technology will make our lives so much more convenient and easy. But at what cost? Maybe at the loss of all of our self-survival skills and our most precious individual souls?
We have been taught that taking the easy way out was never something we should ever do or ever strive to do. But most people are taking the easy way out refusing to do any of the work and relying on technology now to do it for them.
Humans are entering a dangerous time where many falsely believe technology is here to serve them with no strings attached. I don’t think this will end well……
