Am I really being immature especially at 25 by showing too much excitement about the celebrity visit?
In one of my previous post I shared that this woman with whom I have been chatting on Instagram for a while said that Bollywood actress Vidya Balan came to her University where she is studying MBA in our city Bangalore in India itself and that made me go Omgggg for real because Vidya Balan is a very popular actress so her coming to an University is a big deal to me especially as I have never met a celebrity in real life but I shared about it to others, they don't even feel the same level of excitement as me so I wonder whether I am being immature as a 25 year old by saying things "You won't believe Vidya Balan came to their University for real 😲😳". So first I shared to this woman from my campus where I freshly completed my MBA and she is my junior and 24 year old saying in excitement "You won't believe but Vidya Balan came to Alliance University for real. Yes you heard it right 😲" but she barely shared the same excitement as me 🥲 and was just saying it felt unexpected whereas all I was saying that how lucky that University students are and I wish celebrities came to our University as well. I shared it to this another woman too who is 22 and she barely replied just "Oh" like no excitement about Vidya Balan at all. I expected her to reply something like "Damn no way. are you saying for real?". I shared about to this another woman too with whom I have been chatting on Instagram from our city doing MBA too and she is 21 or 22 and even she said she heard about Vidya Balan coming but didn't share the same excitement.
I even shared about it to my male peers who are in the 23-26 age range and even they barely even reacted and didn't show any excitement about it whereas I have been showing full enthusiasm like a fool. So say honestly, is it immature for a 25 year old male to hype up about a celebrity visit like this even though its super rare for celebrities to visit Universities like that? Like why does it seem like I am the only who got so surprised about it and wishing I could see Vidya Balan?
