I really wish other human beings would engage my child.
People don't like kids anymore. Even a well-behaved, smart, sweet kid with a great sense of humor.
It's sad, because kids are people and if they're awful it's because of the crap adults in their life.
I'm so exhausted trying to be his everything. It's been almost 12 years of parenting alone. His dad is more like another child than a reliable adult. Bullying is okay again, schools don't do anything to stop it, it's almost like they encourage it and teachers participate in it.
And being a single parent means people look down on you. Other parents don't trust you with their kids or around their dumb husbands.
I don't know this world. I don't understand these people. I remember adults frequently being kind to me in little ways when I was young. Just enough to make it feel like kids were important too.
Now all I hear about is how people hate kids.
Shut the fuck up because kids are the future and if you don't care about the future you're biologically useless.
