Omggg I feel I made a fool of myself and feeling so embarrassed π. Am I really a fool?
So as you all know I am freshly done with my MBA and job searching and giving interviews. So yeah recently I saw this on a job portal where it says there is a walk-in interview conducted by multiple MNCs like EY, IBM, Amazon etc. I applied for the walk-in and got an email that I was selected. I was excited thinking maybe I will get a job in one of these top MNCs. Bangalore is an IT hub so I thought this will be a huge job fest in a tech park in our city. I am 25 and also anticipated that I will socialize with women there who are in their 20s and searching for a job too and make new connections. So I dressed up in a formal attire for the interview π₯². But things turned horrible. π
The venue is in Singasandra area of our city Bangalore which is close to the IT and Electronic hub Electronic City but the office where the interview is turned out to be in a quiet residential area. The office is basically a third party recruitment and training center. There was no IBM or EY or any of the company there. In fact there was no other candidate there for an interview. Something definitely felt fishy. The area is quite away from the corporate hubs of the city. I was the only one dressed in a professional attire with formal shirt, formal pants and black shoes whereas everyone is locals there dressed conservatively and the area felt a bit rural and outskirt too. This shows this wasn't a legitimate Walk in hiring by these big companies. It was just something by a third party as no one was there and the location is fishy. But it felt like I made a fool of myself ππ’ by going there. I expected so much that I will get a job in one of those companies and maybe even socialize there but I ended up feeling embarrassed there π₯Ίπ. I have my fingers crossed that I will get this job tho whose interview I had but it's work from home tho π₯².
