Now that I have these things that I feel are important, I don't need a man and when I thought a relationship was starting up, I ended it.

They cause me so much anxiety and unhappiness, and I hear most of my friends complain about their partners and I'm glad for the choices I've made.

Trying to be chosen by some man was my entire existence before. I'm so proud of where I am now.

It's good to come into union with another but needs to come from the right place, and yes all that energy we waste on the mating stuff, we can do a lot with it. But perhaps each period in life has something beautiful to teach us too...
Your story is inspiring and the things you occupy yourself kinda extraordinary!

@Boeing yeah! I mean I had my love and romantic moments but I can't see falling in love with someone deeply again 💙

But I have love for so many things that having a partner would only be a small part of that and I really don't have energy for it anymore

@caccoon I believe that you will, in time, perhaps not in this cycle, but sometimes when we least expect it.. I am not trying to sell you anything lol I know how engaging with another deeply can mean also, lesser freedom of movement, more concern when taking decisions, etc ...
Even when hiking with a partner you need to compromise and be finding middle grounds..let alone sharing life.

Go on and surprise yourself with what you will be doing next year :)
