So tomorrow I am going back to that part of our city which will bring back memories. What do you feel I should do?
So tomorrow I have a job interview and the office is in Konanakunte area of Kanakapura road area of our city Bangalore in India. You all might be wondering what's up with that area. But I had several memories(mostly not good memories). My college where I did my Bachelor's in Engineering was in Kanakapura road and it was more at outskirts of our city but while going in bus, Konanakunte used to come in the way. The Konanakunte bus stop is a transit point and often really crowded and chaotic too. The bus commutes were long and hectic as college was really far from home. I was also more shy during engineering days and isolated and felt alienated as most students were Kannada speaking South Indians and I am Bengali. Plus I had several backlogs in some subjects which made those commutes feel loaded.
I used to have the same monotonous bus commutes and I was also used by other guys in college for money, snacks and academic help. After entering MBA i improved so much and overcome my shyness and everything so going to Kanakapura road will feel like regressing. Honestly going back there will bring back those irritating memories too. I am 25 now and changed a lot since then but still it will feel kinda uneasy going there. Most people will be local Kannadigas there and it's quite a bit far from my home. It's also pretty far from the cosmopolitan Central Bangalore areas like UB City, Lavelle road etc. So what do you feel about it?
