So this is how my yesterday's socializing went. Do you feel it was a good day?

So I went out yesterday despite having mild cold and sore throat thinking it was mild plus being in home is far boring. So yeah went to 1MG mall in Trinity Circle area of our city Bangalore in India which I am enjoying a lot more due to the international but calm atmosphere. So I saw this beautiful Caucasian woman getting on the escalator upstairs and I was using the escalator too so I initiated a conversation with her. She is from Germany and whats even amazing is she is peer aged for sure in her early or mid 20s and I am also 25. She is just travelling tho and not an expat really but she was really warm and bubbly. She is working in her country tho. We talked quite a lot on the escalator about each other, even exchanged names and she asked about me too. Honestly it felt really validating and amazing to get treated this way especially by a woman in my age group 😢😭. Yeah it wasn't even about dating or romance at all but just being treated like an equal human is what made me feel so good 🥹. Eventually tho halfway through our conversation, she got joined by 2 older German women. So yeah I just silently walked away as standing there might feel too intrusive as I am still a stranger. But it was still great.

Then in 1MG mall, I met another woman from Spain. She was shopping in H&M store in the mall and I approached her and tried talking to her. I said her I am just trying to socialize with new people but she said "Sorry I am actually in a bit of hurry so won't be able to talk much now" so I said yeah yeah its fine. Still she asked my name tho and I also asked hers and we ended the conversation with a handshake and respected the fact she couldn't talk but I was surprised how tall she was as she was basically my height(176-177 cm) and I didn't expect someone from Spain to be so tall as their average height is less especially compared to other European countries like Germany or Scandinavian countries. Then I went to Lavelle Road from there via Brigade Road area of our city yesterday as I had a mild cold so was feeling fatigue and I wasn't ready for Church Street as its chaotic and has lots of footfall so I avoided Church Street altogether yesterday. But in Brigade Road, I went to this Starbucks for a coffee to feel some energy. There was a solo foreign woman in the Cafe tho. Actually something slightly awkward happened.

The Starbucks had sockets for charging on the floor. So I accidentally stepped on the socket and said "Oh Shit" and that woman actually smiled seeing it maybe due to the awkwardness and she was observing around and relaxed even when on laptop. So her smile made it easier for me to initiate the conversation with her. She is from Hungary. So we talked and she asked me questions and so did I and even asked names. She also asked about my MBA and everything. I really loved her unique Hungarian accent tho. When she said she is from Hungary, I said "Oh yeah I heard about it. Its a country in Europe". She said yes and then she literally said me how the Prime minister of their country is really bad. Yeah she shared this to me and I didn't expect someone to share about their Prime Minister. She also said guessing that I also knew about their Prime Minister being bad. Of course I didn't know it haha 😂🤣. Hell I didn't even know their Prime Minister name but I still said yes just to sound "Globally aware" to her 🥲. Anyways we ended the conversation with a handshake and have a great day too.
