So today one of most unexpected conversation happened in UB City mall. What do you feel about it?

So today was a bit dry socially as its Wednesday. First 1MG mall in Trinity Circle area of our city Bangalore in India, I approached this woman who is a foreign expat in the grocery section of the mall and she was older around 35-40 and I am 25. But when I approached, she responded but accidentally hit herself on the vegetable tray which startled me and I immediately say her "I'm Sorry" even though I didn't do anything but was worried that someone will think this happened because of me. Then I said her I am just saying Hi to new people and she smiled and said "Ohh Hi" but I hesitated to continue the conversation as she was hit on the tray like that so I walked away after the brief Hi. Then in Starbucks of Trinity area itself, I met another woman from Latvia who was with an Indian woman. Its super rare to see someone from Latvia so we talked a bit and both the Indian and Latvian women were friendly and open to talking but I ended the conversation quickly saying "Okay enjoy your coffee and have a nice day" as I felt they were having a conversation among themselves already. If she was solo, I might have kept the conversation longer. But things changed in UB City mall.

So in Cafe Noir in the courtyard area of UB City mall, I saw noticed this woman so I sat at the table close enough to her table to socialize. I ordered a Latte and then initiated a conversation with her. She is from Croatia. Yes you heard it right. It felt unexpected because Croatians are super rare in India so to talk with one in one of the most upscale parts of the city felt unreal and she was very pretty. She is tourist tho. I said her that I am basically saying hello to new people and I enjoy socializing with people from different cultures. So she jokingly said "Oh so you are practicing with me?" and laughed but I smiled and said " No I am just genuinely trying to socialize with people". She then said thats nice and asked me whether I am from Bangalore. I said "Not really. I am from West Bengal in Eastern India but living in Bangalore since 2008". She then asked me whether I am working here and I said "I am just a fresh MBA graduate which is a Masters degree". I also asked her whether she is working here or just traveling and she said she is traveling. I then asked her name and she asked mine and wow she is one of the few foreigners who pronounced my name almost correct as even many Indians pronounce it wrong haha. I then noticed the book she was reading and asked about it and she answered and said she recently bought it. Honestly tho her beauty was distracting me a bit haha which is normal for a straight man especially at 25 and she is definitely in her mid or late 20s(about 25-28 age range for sure) but I still didn't compliment her looks to her as it feels too forward to say it to a stranger I just met so I ended the conversation saying "Okay it was nice meeting you. Have a great day" and she said the same and in no time, my Latte came and I enjoyed drinking it.
