Sealed with Love: How to Unlock the Power of the Holy Spirit in Your Life

The Holy Spirit is an infinite waterfall of God's love cascading over you. He is your daily, spiritual Guide, He is the River of Life that never runs dry.

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Divine Godhead. A real person, not an "it". Anytime the Bible mentions the Holy Spirit, it refers to him as the Divine "He" or "Him".

The Holy Spirit is an abundant, unending source of God's love, provision, and life. He is the generous supply of all you need to live the abundant life, and that is something that all the wealth in the world cannot replace nor substitute.

When our spirit is made alive by Him, we are healthy and thriving... everything is right, within us. What I love about the Holy Spirit, is that the minute we say "I do" to Jesus and ask Him to forgive us of our sins, He does so, then the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in us instantaneously. That's a promise! It doesn't get better than that! And everyone is welcome to come to Christ. He turns no one away.

The Holy Spirit as an unlimited divine source, bringing healing, restoration, and an abundant life to everything He touches. Ezekiel 47

The Holy Spirit "seals" believers' who have invited Jesus into their hearts and lives as their personal Savior, and intercedes for us in prayer, making God's presence real, and enabling a deeper relationship with Him. Romans 8:26 - 27.

In the Life of a Believer, He brings about the "new birth".

Indwelling & Empowerment: The Holy Spirit lives within believers, making them God's temple, and provides strength, wisdom, and power for living. Believers, according to the bible, are not those that profess to believe in God, then forget Him... but those that actually live according to His Word, day by day. Those who have made the commitment to follow Christ and His teachings.

The Bible is filled with God's wise instruction for a successful, fulfilling, and blessed life. If we don't read it, our spirit grows weak. Just like we need food to live, we also need the Bible to give us our spiritual food each day, or our spirit gets faint and weak, and that's when we begin to fall. The more we read God's Word, the stronger we become.

In Matthew 26:41, Jesus says, "Watch and pray so that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." While this verse is specifically in the context of Jesus' disciples, it highlights the importance of prayer and vigilance in maintaining spiritual strength. Psalm 119:148

Guidance & Truth: The Holy Spirit guides believers into all truth, helps them understand Scripture, and convicts them of sin, revealing their need for God.

Gifts & Service: The Holy Spirit distributes spiritual gifts as HE wills. We do not choose our spiritual gifts. That is the Holy Spirit's role, and He knows which gifts each person needs, and distributes them accordingly. 1st Corinthians 12:11

Comfort & Intercession: Acts as a Comforter, Helper, and Advocate, interceding for believers in prayer.

Sealing & Security: The Bible verse that perfectly describes the Holy Spirit as the Seal of Salvation, guaranteeing eternal life in heaven, is Ephesians 1:13-14, which states believers are "sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance, until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of His glory".

This holy "seal" placed on us by God, cannot be broken. His sealing, signifies ownership, authenticity, and security, marking believers as God's own, and assuring them of their eternal future in Christ.

In essence, the Holy Spirit empowers, guides, and transforms believers, helping them live out their faith and relationship with God. He convicts of sin, teaches, and gives spiritual gifts, enabling believers to serve and glorify God. Ultimately, the Holy Spirit is a gift from God, sealing and securing believers in their walk with Christ.
