Security for my children in work; housing and health and freedom from pain for my folks approaching their mid-80's
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Picklebobble2 Yes, I understand all of that.

RodneyTrotter1 · 100+, M
To be remembered in a positive way, to pass on skills and knowledge that I've been lucky enough to have had passed on to me, to see as many places of interest that I can and most of all, to have no regrets when I'm too old to do what I love and would love to do.
I certainly have no wish to be the richest man in the graveyard.
RodneyTrotter1 · 100+, M
@LadyBronte Thank you 😊
Stuffy · 61-69, F
@RodneyTrotter1
so far I don’t remember you in a positive way. You lauph reacted to a depressed post.
RodneyTrotter1 · 100+, M
@Stuffy That must have been an accident, I'd never do that. I must have tapped the wrong image by mistake. I apologise.
Platinum · M
Ive got everything out of life that i wanted... a great marriage, four great kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren...a job i enjoyed and enough money for what i need....and friends ive had for 70+years ...the only downside is living in some pain....
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Platinum You are one of the lucky ones, then. Wonderful!
Platinum · M
@LadyBronte ive worked hard and been lucky
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
To be brutally honest, a smooth sailing with lots of pleasant and exciting experiences. But it's been proven many times that life doesn't care what I want out of it, it just has its own way of doing things.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Boeing I saw that so many people are offended when someone says that they want an easy life and things always going the way to please them. As if life needed to be a struggle to be worth something. I don't understand that view, tbh. That's why I said brutally honest. I am not ashamed to admit that I see as much worth in a life that is a smooth sailing as one that is a struggle. The latter might provide interesting stories but does it make the teller happier? Some people are happy when they struggle and some when they don't but many people seem to believe that only struggle can bring fulfillment. That simply isn't true for all.
Boeing · 36-40
@CrazyMusicLover I agree with you absolutely 🌅 an easy sail sounds like an excellent choice tbh
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@CrazyMusicLover I have to agree with that. Life has its own ideas.
scorpiolovedeep · 51-55, M

Contentment.
Security for myself and my loved ones.
The simple basic necessities with assurance.
Stuffy · 61-69, F
@Musicman I thought for sure people would think that was too little to want and boring. Would more be nice? Yeah but I don’t want my hopes too high.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@Stuffy What you asked for was everything we need. Anything more is just icing on the cake. You actually have your head in the right place. 😊
LadyBronte · 61-69, F

@BrandNewMan Right there with you! That is if you're talking, in general. If you're talking golf, not even 47 mulligans would help me! 😂😂
BrandNewMan · 61-69, M
@LadyBronte Definitely the life part that is underway.

That retirement thingy might let my clubs see daylight regularly again for that matter though.

I don't really know at this point.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@thepeculiarpanda Sometimes it takes a while. Sometimes we think we know, then things happen, and we have to start over to figure it out again. Lol.
Boeing · 36-40
Apparently a 1000 years to live in a healthy and vibrant body.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
