This is the worst it's ever been 😔

It's just dark most of the time, whenever we get electricity it's just for a few hours, enough time to take a shower or cook some food. We sleep at weird hours because it's quite frankly boring when our battery and phone runs out, and we try to get up to turn on heating whenever electricity comes back. I can't even draw commissions for money and we're still drowning financially. It feels oddly boring and stressful at the same time.

Often the boredom is what's stressful. Someone who is actively doing something gives the feeling of working toward their goals.

What if you did your drawings starting with traditional pencil and physical medium? Then when you get your power on you can do a quick photo snap and so you already have a trace to start with.

@froggtongue I could totally do the lineart manually like you say, it's a great idea however the rendering is what actually takes time. I do have a bit of time when I can work if my husband is ok with not doing anything in the meantime while I use the battery, but it's tough.
