I had 2 amazing conversations today. Do you feel they were good?

So at first in Church Street area of our city Bangalore in India which is one of the most cosmopolitan and youthful part of the city, I met these 2 women who were shopping for clothes from the sidewalk vendors. So I initiated the conversation saying them Just saying hello to new people. They are British expats from the UK studying here in Bangalore. So one of the woman was leading the conversation when I mentioned my MBA and its being done so she asked which University and I answered it. She is studying Law here and in her early 20s(about 21-22 range mostly at least) and I am a recently turned 25 year old male. She then introduced herself by saying her name and then asked my name too and I also said my name. I also asked her how is she finding the city and she said she loves it. It was honestly an amazing conversation especially as she was pretty and she asked me many questions. In the end, we ended the conversation with a handshake and have a great day. Didn't ask for any Instagram as we just met.

Then inside this Cafe in UB City mall, I met this older woman who is from France. She was very warm and immediately opened up when I said I am just trying to meet new people and even gave me a high five. She is about 40-45 age range but it didn't matter as I am 25 now so both adults and what mattered is she was an amazing person. She immediately asked me too where I am from and I am mentioned being from West Bengal in Eastern India and living in Bangalore since 2008. She also asked about my MBA and everything. I then asked her whether she is working here or just travelling and she said she is just on a vacation but then mentioned that her husband is at the below floor of the mall. I apologized then saying her I am sorry I didn't know you were married I am just basically trying to socialize with new people. But she smiled and reassured me saying "No thats absolutely fine. Thats how you meet new people". That line validated me a lot as I have been worrying whether I am really being a weirdo by trying to cold socialize in general. Anyways we ended the conversation saying Okay have a great day and we had a firm handshake.

It is so weird that you always write about talking to strange women. It really seems creepy because you appear so obsessive. I am thinking you need to get psychological help before this obsession turns dangerous.

@Nightwings Obsessive? I am done with my MBA degree and had to quit an internship which was toxic and now searching for a job while living with my parents so obviously not being able to meet women or people in general like I could in University and dating apps don't work for me as I don't get matches and also getting matches is much harder in India and gender ratio is skewed. So of course I am putting myself out there meeting others in real life and not on apps because I am 25 now and don't wanna be lonely in home and I am just learning social skills. We humans are social beings and need to socialize for our own mental health. I am a straight man just trying to meet women and talk to them. How the hell am I supposed to socialize when I am not even in a structured setting yet? University is done and I am not in a workplace yet. A lot of people even say not to meet women in workplace either as its risky then what are we men supposed to do especially the ones who missed out in school days and college due to shyness and bullying trauma? As long as I am respecting their disinterest and not being pushy, it should be fine. Nothing I do is considered as harassment.

Do you know how much cold approaching has helped me reduce clinginess? Nowadays I am not clingy at all in texts or anywhere and can take rejections calmly and move on easily and can read or understand social cues better now too. I don't feel that bad after rejections now. I am gaining social skills now after talking to different women. No one sees how these benefits men. Most men who have no practice don't get social skills ends up being clingy often, misreads social cues and even be bitter towards women after rejections but I am not. This is what happens to many Indian men in general due to conservatism in India and restrictions and even gender segregation in schools and colleges so many men here don't develop enough social skills.

@Nightwings Yeah I understand I post these too much. Actually many Westerners online have this stereotype that Indian men are awkward with women and not desirable so yeah I end up posting them to show others especially older men here that I can also socialize with women properly as an Indian man and have friendly interactions. I understand my posts can look weird or obsessive as I post them often so yeah I won't make such frequent posts about women on here. I was just seeing whether men will dismiss me again because few years back when I was still shy and posting online about no luck on dating apps, some men online dismissed me saying Indian men aren't desirable and are at the bottom of the dating pole and told me many advices which felt outdated or less helpful in the Indian context so yeah thats probably another reason I post almost every moments here. And of course its not my hobby. My main hobby is singing and I am a Car enthusiast so I also go out to spot supercars and even saw one today and filmed. I sometimes post videos of the cars I filmed too on here but they just get buried as I post about women more.
