The reason why i feel the current Kerala trip is way better than the Rameswaram trip. Do you feel i am less adaptable?
So as you all know for the past 2 days i am in this beautiful hilly place named Wayanad in Kerala state of India which is about 5.5 hours from our city Bangalore. I am enjoying this trip more than the previous trip to Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu state just 3 months ago. Thats because in Rameswaram I went with my parents and even my mom's friend and her family. My mom's friend's husband doesnt like spending money and he is so kanjoos (Hindi word for stingy) who made the trip harder. Also Rameswaram is a religious pilgrimage town so almost all restaurants were vegetarian. As a Bengali, its hard for me to be without non-veg in the whole trip. There were some restaurants selling crab and chicken at the outskirts but didnt try due to the stingy uncle(mom's friend's husband). Even the hotel was kinda bad because the stingy uncle needed a cheaper hotel. I had to sleep on the floor with a mattress as me and my parents shared a room. The overnight bus journeys were hard too and the weather was too hot despite the beautiful beaches.
This Wayanad trip has been far better. The place is beautiful with so much greenery. There is a cute rabbit in the resort behind which i run to catch it. Its extremely peaceful and relaxing at night with a beautiful calm music playing in the resort and you can hear frog croaking at night which is impossible to hear in big cities like Bangalore. Also there is non-veg items here too though limited to only chicken as people in Kerala eats beef but we Hindus don't. I wanna eat Pork but my parents don't want it either but overall the food options are much better here. We also came in our own car Maruti Suzuki Baleno which i love more than the bus journeys. And the main thing is that stingy uncle isn't there this time with us so no problem. He is so damn annoying. But does it make me seem less adaptable or less matured for my age(turned 25 very recently)?
