Today I literally socialized with someone from Slovenia for real. Do you feel its very crazy?
So today at first in front of UB City mall in our city Bangalore, India which is a luxurious mall, I approached this woman from Australia. She is an expat woman working here. But what makes this special is that I approached her last year as well in UB City but at the time I directly started the conversation asking whether she is working in Bangalore. So she at the time suggested me politely to start the conversation with introducing myself first as some women might get uncomfortable if I directly ask whether she works here. So today as someone who turned 25 just 2 days ago, I approached her and started the conversation saying "I am just saying hello to new people" and she responded warmly and then I shared about my MBA and everything and it was a great but short conversation as we were walking and talking and she was outside the UB City mall. But she was friendlier and talked normally which means my approach was fine today. She didn't recognize me tho as we met after a year.
But then in Church Street area, which is the cosmopolitan and youthful area of our city, I saw this white woman sitting in the food court of Sobha mall in Church Street itself. I initiated conversation saying I am just saying hello to new people and trying to meet new people while mentioning my MBA. She responded warmly and when I asked where she is from, she said she is from Slovenia which was unexpected as I never expected someone from there in Bangalore and she is working here so she is an expat and not a tourist. She is very pretty and had blue eyes. She was smiling and talking to me. I asked her name as well and I said mine. We had a brief but warm conversation. This was my first time talking to someone from Slovenia. I eventually ended the conversation saying have a great day and didn't really ask for her Instagram but as she is working here maybe we will meet again in future. I just enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and talking to her made my mood really great.
