It is so uncomfortable to think about how little time I have left of life /=

because of your finances and the war, or are you anxious about ageing?

@BlueVeins I am anxious about ageing. I guess I think about death a lot lately due to everything that's going on. I want to read more books, and write an essay for every single book I read. I want to get 100% achievements in all my Steam games. I want to write my 3-chapter biography (silly I know), and I want write and publish short-stories. I want to live more so that I can take more interesting photographs, travel, and I want to paint oil paintings. I guess because everything has been standing still since the beginning of the war, for soon 4 years, I am anxious that I can't do much. Those 4 years feels more like 10. I realized the other day that I forgot that the curfew wasn't always a thing, and that I used to be able to take a walk outside in the middle of the night if I wished to. I got so used to having no freedom to do anything or go anywhere because of the conscription and money problems, that I keep forgetting that I will have freedom to live life again eventually.

@BlueVeins Sorry that was way too long a rant. 😅

@Nightwings I am anxious about that too. I have been given all the freedom in the world and I still feel like my time has not been well spent.

I am hopeful that we may have good geroprotective medicine in our lifetimes, but all we can do for now is stay healthy and try to live life to the fullest, where we are. <3 Hope your situation improves, I know things are very bleak.

@BlueVeins Thank you. I think about stuff like that too, good geoprotective medicine, new possibilities in organ transplantation, and even sci-fi stuff like uploading our minds to machines eventually. 😅

I am sure that the less accomplished we feel in life, the more anxious we are about it's end. The solution like everyone else is saying, is really to live more. I read something interesting about why our early years felt so long, and seem to go faster and faster as we age: New impressions make us feel this way, so if we continue to experience things completely foreign to us in adulthood, time should "slow down" so to speak. That's easier said than done of course.

@Nightwings I have been stuck in a small city, out in the suburbs. I have been looking for a job far away in a great city where I can get around on foot. That is what I really want in life. I think I will get that soon and life will be a lot... slower, as you say. (:

@BlueVeins I really hope you get to do that soon!
