Do you feel my chats are very one sided with him now?
So there is this guy named Bala whom i met 9 months ago in the edtech startup where i did an internship. He is 23 and I am 24 now. He is basically quite awkward and hesitant near women tho. Basically he is from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu state in India but came to our city Bangalore for a couple of months for internship whereas I am from Siliguri in West Bengal but living in Bangalore since 2008.
Bala did all his education including his MBA in Coimbatore and i guess his environment was conservative and gender-segregated(which is unfortunately more common in many parts of India especially Southern states like Tamil Nadu) which explains his awkwardness. He said me he has allergy to girls. I remember once he switched his seat to sit next to his male friend as he was seated between 2 girls in the office which made him nervous. When i asked him why he has allergy to them and he said "Thats how my manufacturing is bro".
His Instagram also shows he is reserved. Bala uses a puppy pic as his profile pic and never posts any pics or stories unlike me who posts multiple selfie videos, video in UB City mall which is upscale and luxurious, coffee in a Cafe and also supercars i see near UB City and Lavelle road area of our city. In the chats, i do often share my social wins to Bala. I share i talked with this pretty German woman, this American woman, this gorgeous Swedish woman, this North Indian woman from my campus, complimented Anshika in the recent MBA convocation who was my crush etc and Bala often replies with laugh emojis giving short replies like "Enjoy bro 😂" or "Always 😂" and once even replied "Naughty boy 🤣".
But at some point especially when the chats become personal like a German woman recognizing me the 2nd time we met or about suggesting hangout to women, he goes silent and doesn't even read my message until i freshly message him again. Idk whether the chat feels awkward or one sided to him as I am sharing about my warm conversation with women as he can't relate well due to his upbringing in Coimbatore and lack of female interactions in general. I remember in the internship when I asked a girl for a coffee near him, he was later hiding his face when i came to him because he thought what if the girl feels he sent me to her and he felt hesitant being with me because i would suddenly start talking to women in front of him too. I really don't whether my messages about women overwhelms him even though he seems content without much female interactions. He is in Chennai now as his male friend lives there and working even though he is job searching.
