Wow you all won't believe this girl actually sent me a follow request first on Insta. What do you feel?
So there is this girl Shamika I have been chatting with on Linkedin for several months. She is from the junior batch from my MBA campus but we didn't really meet in person yet as she is 2025-27 batch and I am 2023-25 batch and we started chatting when I was in my final dissertation semester. Now she is in 1st year of MBA and I am freshly done with my MBA and searching for a job now but we have been consistently chatting for several months. She is 22 and I am 24. I also started sharing how I feel sad and crazy how 1st year for me was 2 years ago. Then our convocation(graduation) time came 2 weeks ago and she was excited to meet me for real as she was supposed to be a volunteer there but it was canceled and another student was chosen as a volunteer so she was sad that she couldn't attend and meet me which made me go aww but she asked me to share convocation pics and I did and she called me smart in the outfit. It was one of the rare moment a woman complimented me tho just like how my crush Anshika called me cute 2 years ago when I was in 1st sem of my MBA. So yeah mostly we will meet up soon enough. She is from the city Nagpur in Maharashtra state of India and is new to our city Bangalore in India whereas I am from Siliguri in West Bengal, India but living in Bangalore since 2008.
I also shared about cars including a Rolls Royce Cullinan and she said its her dream car. Yeah she recently revealed it and likes cars too and I jokingly called her a chupa rustam which means "hidden talent" in Hindi and she also responded with laughing emojis. We also chatted about different topics like hobbies, food, places in our city Bangalore, her first time visit to UB City mall(where I socialize with foreign expat women) last month for Dandiya night in Navratri. She wasn't on Instagram but now she opened a new Insta account and today surprisingly she was the one who sent me a follow request. I didn't even knew she opened an Insta account so she followed me first today and I followed her back eventually. Usually mostly its me asking girls their Insta or following them first and still no guarantee of follow back but here things were different. Yeah its super rare for a woman to follow me first as many Indian women are cautious in general due to cultural norms of India. So yeah idk why it made me feel validated for real.
