Some people think me subletting my old apartment makes it seem like I have "one foot in, one foot out"

I don't. I love my new job, I love my new place.

I am creating security for myself.

If, for whatever reason, this doesn't work out, or the market burns down, or the city decides to stop giving us use of this heritage building... I want to have a place to go to.

And the person I am subletting it to is going to save $800 a month. Which is huge for him.

Sounds a sensible financial decision for you 👍🏻

@poshnaturist I won't be making any money, and it's a bit more work, but it provides security

@caccoon It’s not about making money, it’s about protecting your future
