I like learning about people and immersing myself into their world to really understand them. To see them.

That used to be my downfall when I was younger because I didn't quite master empathy without boundaries, or compartmentalisation. Just giving in excess. Making people feel seen to the extent I became them and took on their world.

Now, I can appreciate that I care enough to step into someone's world and I know that's just a natural part of who I am but I won't sit there forever, just enough to walk the path and give it back to them. Nothing had to entirely change, just adjusted.

compartmentalisation
You’re a champ for not misspelling that
@Nunki Americans spell it with a Z but I've learned to compartmentalise and let it go

@Nunki @HijabaDabbaDoo Microsoft Office, Word, is ruining my spellings, I used to write with S, when the software underline it with a red line, the perfectionist in me takes over and I have to change it to Z

Love this.

Sometimes it's so easy to feel like we're "too much" in one way or another, or others to identify us in that way.

But sometimes, we just haven't honed our superpowers in a way that doesn't hurt us yet.

You're inspiring. 💙
@caccoon As are you. It makes me smile to see you doing big things with your hard work. It's well deserved💙

Good wisdom to learn.
Energy is precious, and the former mode of behaviour can deplete you quite quickly.

Im still learning this.
For some reason its easier to throw energy outwards into stuff/people/work, than it is to hold it in inwardly.

But well done 💪
It gets very tiring holding other people’s baggage. Good that you are learning to hand it back.
