These lobbyist groups above are influencing and buying many congressional votes. These groups are unelected and are the entities which have a huge effect on how this country is run.
You want to fix political corruption? Two simple steps:
1. Implement term limits which which will end perpetual political rule by members of congress where we find many members who are there for a lifetime. This would also end politician’s pensions and do what the founders initially wanted from our leaders regarding public service. Service of a few years and then out of political office permanently. I suggest making all political offices adhere to a five year term with no ability to run for or inhabit any other political office ever again.
2. End all lobbying in Washington DC and throughout the country. Plain and simply this would end unelected corporations from running this country and ruling our lives.
If these two steps were ever implemented we would live in a more free and prosperous nation.
