Btw is it just my imagination or do most people in Western countries have this "Luis Lopez" lifestyle?
So for many years i have been wondering this about you people from the West. So Luis Fernando Lopez is the protagonist of the game GTA The Ballad of G@y Tony(TBOGT) which is one of the episodic DLC of GTA 4. In the game it shows Luis Lopez enjoying Liberty City's(in game version of New York City) nightlife like heavily clubbing, dancing with women, drinking, flirting, picking up women, having fun in the backroom with a woman etc. In a mission too in the game, it shows Luis having carefree fun dancing with a pretty woman in the Bahama Mamas nightclub with amazing European club music from the late 2000s so just wondering whether its the reality for many of you Westerners too. Thats very different from the storyline of GTA 4 where Niko Bellic's story is darker, less fun and more serious and based on survival. I feel this is same for many Indian men except the crime and violence in the game. Many Indian men seem to have the "Niko Bellic" life because in India its more about survival.
Dating norms are still conservative in many places, some don't get to date, some schools are gender segregated, many living with parents in their 20s(including me at 24) so less freedom for nightlife, the nightlife is more restricted in even big Indian cities like Bangalore and in many places they don't allow stags(solo males) or group of males as they worry about it skewing the gender ratio and there is this whole thing of "What will people think?" and many are pressurized to focus only in studies or jobs. Even I was like Niko Bellic as I was bullied, isolated before but nowadays I feel more Luis Lopez as I have been confidently talking with women nowadays especially foreign expat women in cosmopolitan parts of our city Bangalore like UB City mall, Lavelle road, Church Street etc. So are you all who are in Western cities living like Luis Lopez too having fun carefree nightlife, picking up women, dancing with them and having fun? I am just curious.
