Well my damn AC drain pipe is clogged so I gotta rent a shop vac from Home Depot and suck it out

Having had this problem. It is easier to push a wire or a small tube down the pipe as there is likely algae growth in it. You would disconnect the pipe from the ac unit and push the pipe/wire in from there. I don't think the drain pipe is too long from memory. A shop vac would not clean out the algie growth.
