When you've been an asshole your whole life like I have

The kind of asshole who has no idea that he's an asshole. Just the opposite, dude thinks he has the inside track on everything that's objectively true and cool and anyone who objects is just ignorant. And God let's him live long enough to get some perspective and open his eyes to the breadth and depth of his assholeness, what choice does a man have but to humble himself in every aspect? My memories prosecute me constantly.
