Today i had the most unexpected conversation ever. Do you find it cool too?

So today as usual went to the trendy and cosmopolitan parts of our city Bangalore like Indiranagar, UB City mall, Lavelle road and Church Street. So in Indiranagar, which is always called the hipster part of our city I went to this Cafe and saw a blonde foreign woman having coffee and working on her laptop. I initiated conversation with her and she was very friendly. She is actually an expat from Sweden. Yeah you heard it right. I never expected a Swedish woman(or any Nordic) in Bangalore. Most expat women i met before were either Germans or Americans and sometimes Brits. She was really great. She only came to the city just a week ago. We even asked each other our names and what we do. I said about my MBA and she is an IT professional. She definitely looks in her early to mid 30s and I am 24.

Other than her didnt meet any other expats except a German tourist woman who was coming out of UB City mall and the conversation was really short. Overall the Swedish woman was amazing and hoping to meet her again.

Some of the best moments in life are those unexpected conversations in a coffee shop, on a train, or bus. I think you have to be careful who use strike up a conversation with, but it's good you had a really positive experience this time.

@FreddieUK Tbh most foreign expat women especially from Western countries are friendly and are open for small talks. Its the local Indian women who are more reserved and cautious about men they don't know. Tried having a conversation with a group of 4-5 Indian women in their early to mid 20s in this Cafe in Church Street saying that I am just saying Hi to new people and trying to meet new people. They said Hi back but there was this awkward silence while I was trying to talk and they weren't really interested in talking at all. I had to eventually say "Okay then have a great day" and move on.
