Today I spoke to my therapist about sex and shame and my feelings toward it
Having been shamed by so many other women for my sexuality, I was so happy she received me in such a gentle and encouraging way.
We talked about how having many sexual encounters isn't a thing to be ashamed about, but a way to experiment and find out what I like.
We talked about how many I can enjoy things that not everyone does, and it's okay.
It was nice to talk openly with another female. It was nice to hear her bring up things like BDSM or polyamory or whatever in a way that was so casual and chill, and I can tell she means it.
And that I can be accepting of so many things, and know they are okay, but define sex for myself as well, and what it means to me now.
I've been seeing her for almost two years now, I am still growing and learning with her. She is SO wonderful, I am so grateful.
P.S. This isn't meant to be a hate post on women, I have met a lot of women too that were/are open and supportive. But it's really nice to feel in a vulnerable position and have the other person just be understanding and easy to talk to about it.
