Maybe not everything is so bad
I think I can pick the right people to be my online friends and I got lucky enough to meet like a couple of them.
Anyway I'm posting this because it's about politics I guess? I have a Canadian Jewish friend who I met on EP around 11 years ago (She is not on SW and we haven't met in offline life) during the past couple of years we shared a similar insight on the Gaza war. We both just wanted peace and we hate to see deaths on either sides of the conflict.
Today she posted a story on Instagram celebrating the return of the Israeli hostages to their home and obviously I hearted it. And she then reacted to a FB post of mine of Palestinian kids also celebrating the end of the war.
I was having a bad day and this made me feel that maybe there's still hope out there. Imagine more people acting like that. I have always wanted that! Why are we punishing each other over things our ancestors did why are we so stupid.
