Car keys in our postbox, my son put it there as he "helped" his mum and me cleaning up our house :P He was three years old then. Looking for my car keys cost me two hours and buckets of sweat :P ;)

I found my sun glasses once in our compost heap. I assume I haven´t wear it on my nose, but on my head while I put a wheelbarrow full of fresh cut grass on the heap, and the sun glasses must have slipped from my hair into the grass and disappeared there immediately. About half an hour later or so I started to search for my sun glasses but couldn´t find it of course. I never thought of looking for it into the compost heap, so because I couldn´t find them nowhere I bought a new one. Months later the compost heap had to move to another place in our garden and surprise surprise my sunglasses came back to light. Much to the delight of my little son, who washed it in warm water with plenty of foam for at least an hour and kept it as a sacred treasure for weeks in his room ;). The funny thing about it was that he believed that wonderful things would grow in our compost heap, so he searched for new treasures every day for a few weeks, even though we told him a few times, that it was just an accident that daddy´s sun glasses had fallen into it ;)
