I get caught up in the why.

Why is it possible for horrible things to happen to people. And children. I guess a part of me realizes we're just born into this world and anything can happen. It's the laws of physics. Reality doesn't care about feelings. There is no hard code to the world denying the possibility of happenings too gruesome to detail here on SW. Things that we like to ignore but some of us very much know are real.

Youre an empath and its extremely draining. You cant save people, everyone is responsible for themselves. So give yourself a break. Feel but dont dwell on it for too long. Give yourself that compassion
