Sorry but if someone is a jerk to me or ignores me when I'm being real, don't expect my kindness.

I wish I could be caring despite being not cared about, I did for a long time, trying to be virtuous. It depleted me.

No I will not let people have from me what they wouldn't give. It no longer makes me feel guilty either. Nor am I as forgiving or forgetting.

@BillyMack it's really beautiful that some of us want to give so much, but we don't live in a world where that's okay. People will ask for a lot after they already refused you a drop. Just can't play like that anymore.

@Bexsy I know it's hard. It doesn't feel good to make a conscious effort to refuse being kind. But the feeling of disappointment and future letdown is much worse. I remind myself I am not endless and I do know people that make an effort for me, I'd rather save my kindness for them 🖤 like you 🖤
