Talked with another foreign woman today. Do you find my socializing impressive?
In my previous post I mentioned how I talked with 3 foreign women yesterday in different parts of our city Bangalore. Today I went to this area named Koramangala which is another cosmopolitan part of the city. At first I went to this North East Indian style restaurant for lunch where I ate Mizo style noodles(Mizoram is a state in North East of India) and talked with a Mizo woman first who was dining there and it was a small talk. Then there is a Tim Hortons here where I drank a cold chocolate brownie Frappe and then went to this another Cafe named Blue Tokai Coffee Roosters and saw a white foreign woman sitting. I walked up to her and initiated conversation with her. She is from Germany.
She is a short term expat in Bangalore for some work assignment stuff. So she was fully open for the conversation and was quite loud and confident. I was a bit cautious already haha as recently I faced moral policing or intervention by staffs and supervisors in some other Cafe and brewpub just for normally talking to women so the fact she spoke loudly made me worried for a while that what if some staff intervenes again but thankfully no one intervened and we had a great conversations. Her name is also so damn unique tho but I forgot it and I guess she felt the same about my name which is also a less common Indian name mostly unique to Bengali people. I even asked her about the city and she said she loves the greenery and everything and I also joked to her a bit about the infamous Bangalore's traffic and she too laughed. I eventually ended the conversation with a nice to meet you and have a great day and a handshake. It definitely boosted my confidence today.
